Pediatric IV Therapy Vascular Access Nurse

The Pediatric IV Therapy Vascular Access Nurse provides essential vascular access services to pediatric patients. Experience in vascular access techniques, including ultrasound-guided placements, is required. The position involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care. Nurses will utilize best practices in aseptic techniques and monitor for complications. Strong communication skills are necessary for educating patients and families. The role requires the assessment of vascular access sites and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Emergency care knowledge is essential, especially in pediatric settings. This position may include the management of central and peripheral venous access devices. Candidates should have experience in managing complications such as phlebitis and extravasation. The nurse will adhere to all infection control protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Experience: Vascular access experience in a pediatric hospital Ultrasound PIV placement experience License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BSN AHA BLS

Must-Have: Ability to float to other facilities
