This position will be a key member of the Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) team in support of the final design, development, production, integration, test, and delivery of this critical capability focused on the requirements development, decomposition, and verification.In this role, you will:Perform Requirements and Verification Engineering for the next-gen wideband MILSATCOM system.Develop, allocate, flow-down both performance and functional requirements from the system to its constituent segments and elements.Coordinate closely across the SEIT team and with lower-tier systems, hardware, and software engineers to ensure a comprehensive allocation and understanding of the system requirements.Develop verification and validation plans; lead the applicable verification and validation activities ensuring the systems both meets requirements and performs as needed.Support/lead key program design reviewsThis position is contingent on program award, expected in 3Q 2026. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Basic Qualifications:5 years of Systems Engineering experienceRequirements allocation, flow-down, verification, and/or VCRM development experienceExperiencing developing and/or verification of Interface Control Documents (ICDs)Experience working either Satellite or Ground Segment programsEligibility to obtain a DOD SECRET Security Clearance. Thus US Citizenship is requiredDesired Skills:Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline10+ years of Requirements and Verification ExperienceExperience in executing design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc)Experience with Requirements Allocation DocumentationSystem Integration ExperienceFamiliarity with DOORS & CAMEOBackground in designing, or sustaining communication subsystems (e.g., RF, optical, digital), for space missionsActive or Current DoD SECRET Security ClearanceProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practiceSpace NSS Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
