The Assistant Front Office Manager helps the Front Office Manager run daily guest services, supervise front desk staff, and ensure smooth check-in and check-out procedures.

$58,000 - $59,000 yearly

• Supervise Operations: Oversee the front desk, bell staff, and guest services to keep daily routines running well.

• Manage Staff: Train, mentor, and schedule employees while monitoring shift performance.

• Resolve Issues: Handle guest complaints and special requests quickly and politely.

• Coordinate Departments: Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to prepare VIP rooms and block rooms for repairs.

• Handle Administration: Assist with reporting, shift checklists, and stepping in for the manager when they are absent.

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of hotel, resort, or guest service experience, often including previous supervisory work.

• Education: A high school diploma is standard for many locations, though a degree in hospitality or business is preferred by larger brands.

• Technical Skills: Familiarity with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and basic office software.

• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, clear communication, and problem-solving abilities.
