Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members, ensuring rotisserie chicken remains warm and ready. You will wrap, label, and store merchandise to keep the freshest items available. You may juggle multiple tasks, including assisting members with bakery orders. Your attitude contributes to a positive shopping experience and helps families enjoy great meals. What you’ll do Be a Team Member: Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources, communicate effectively, and adapt to business needs. Be an Expert: Prepare food according to specifications, plan production, adhere to food safety, sanitation, cold chain and inventory standards, operate and sanitize equipment, and understand product layout. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology for production decisions and encourage others. Be an Owner: Drive area performance, manage expectations, stock and rotate merchandise, enforce quality and date control, minimize waste, and provide excellent customer service. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department, model high‑quality service, execute basics at the highest level, and exhibit energy and passion. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics; use the Open Door Policy. Complete work assignments using policies and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers and customers; prioritize tasks; communicate progress; identify improvement opportunities and adapt to change. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food items. Ensure high‑quality products are available in the prepared foods area. Maintain clean shelves, temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lower‑quality food. Permanently clean and sanitize the member‑ready area. Handle claims, returns, zoning, shrink and damages per company procedures. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to complete required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time frame. Preferred Qualifications Food Service experience. Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
