Field Service Technician - Bridgewater

New Tech Global Staffing is currently seeking a Field Service Technician for a client located in Bridgewater, MA to join our team. This is a direct hire opportunity. Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week
Travel: Daily travel required Summary: Responsible for repairing and maintaining electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial trucks and/or construction equipment. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing mechanical repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through professional service and communication. Responsibilities:

This role involves diagnosing issues, performing mechanical repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through professional service and communication. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose equipment issues by reading work orders and observing/listening to machines in operation
- Provide repair solutions and estimates to meet customer specifications
- Perform mechanical repairs after thorough inspection and analysis
- Document repair details including model, serial number, and hour meter readings
- Communicate repair needs and completed work with customers; obtain customer signatures
- Inspect safety devices, guards, and bolts; make necessary adjustments
- Lubricate moving parts and test repaired equipment for proper operation
- Maintain a professional image and cleanliness of service van
- Coordinate routine maintenance and service needs of service van with operations/service manager
- Ensure safety for customers, company, and the public during service activities
- Submit daily paperwork including work orders, fuel receipts, and invoices
- Submit time cards by 9:00 a.m. daily
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and discuss any needed repairs with customers
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum one year of related experience or training
- Basic computer skills, including internet software
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Availability for overtime and occasional emergency service calls (evenings/weekends)
