Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position available for a healthcare professional in an acute care setting. The role involves supporting post-operative general surgery patients, managing common diagnoses such as atrial fibrillation, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and sepsis ruling. The assignment offers a night shift schedule with a flexible approach to floating within the facility. Job Details: Location: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, 3 years of RN experience, ideally with telemedicine background. Proficiency in phlebotomy, IV starts, EKGs, and familiarity with electronic medical records, preferably Oracle. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on a Medical Surgical Floor. Float: Float to Geri-Psych (Ray of Hope) may be required; no behavioral health experience needed, staff will assist wherever needed. Additional Information: Must be flexible and capable of handling diverse clinical tasks. Candidates should be able to adapt to floating within different units of the facility.
