Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team. This position involves providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, specifically during night shifts of 4x12 hours. The nurse will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:6 to 1:7, depending on staffing availability.Shift DetailsShift: 4x12 hours, Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekendOn-Call Requirement: As needed for low censusFloating Requirement: Yes, within scope to meet facility needsResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit.Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry and insulin management.Respond promptly to rapid response situations.Utilize Epic for charting and documentation.QualificationsExperience: Preferred 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical setting.First-time Travelers: Accepted.Licensure: Valid SC license or Compact license required prior to start.Certifications Required: Current BLS certification.Preferred Certifications: ACLS, NIHSS.Additional InformationScrub Color: Royal BlueParking: Free parking availableConsiderationsTravelers should be aware of potential assignments to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.
