Senior Litigation Paralegal | Equity Legal LLP Salary: $85,000 – $105,000 DOE | Type: Full-Time | Location: Hybrid — San Diego (regular in-office days at our Chula Vista office) About Equity Legal LLP Equity Legal LLP has been an established presence in San Diego real estate law for over a decade. Homeowners, investors, brokers, and referring attorneys throughout the county bring us their property disputes and complex transactions. We handle both sides of real estate law: litigation from pre-demand through trial, and the purchases, leases, and agreements that keep our clients' properties moving forward. We are actively modernizing how a real estate law firm operates, and we are hiring a Senior Litigation Paralegal to sit at the center of our practice and quarterback our active caseload. Our attorneys rely on this role to keep every matter moving, court filings clean and compliant, clients informed, and incoming deadlines caught the day they arrive. What You Will Own Litigation calendar: tracking, verifying, and managing court dates, statutory deadlines, and filing schedules across the firm's active matters. Court filings and service: preparing and executing e-filings, coordinating service of process, and resolving court rejections the same day. Discovery support: finalizing responses, organizing exhibits, Bates stamping, and overseeing document productions. Incoming traffic: triaging what comes in — opposing counsel responses, objections, client requests — and getting it in front of the right attorney with a proposed next step. Transactional support: assisting with purchase and workout agreements, escrow coordination, and recording documents. Communication: professional, same-day interaction with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors. What We Are Looking For Experience: strong California litigation experience (5+ years preferred), ideally with exposure to real estate matters. Composure and focus: calm, clear-headed, and organized around court deadlines. Autonomy: you manage your caseload without hourly oversight and tell us early when something is at risk. Work quality: high attention to detail and personal pride in sending out work that is accurate the first time. Technology and Modern Workflows We run on Clio, InfoTrack, and AI-assisted workflows that are actively integrated into our daily practice. You do not need to be a technologist, but you do need to be tech-forward, open to learning new platforms, and willing to work alongside software designed to eliminate repetitive administrative burdens. What We Offer Compensation: $85,000 – $105,000 per year, depending on experience, paid semi-monthly. Benefits: comprehensive health coverage and paid time off.
