Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Fishersville, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to support patients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and integrity-driven culture through teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding grounds to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious conditions or policy violations, and document incidents accurately.
• Maintain required armed patrol equipment and credentials in accordance with applicable laws, site procedures, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• An armed guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
