- Patrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility.
- Monitor entrances and exits to ensure authorized personnel, guests, and patrons access the facility per facility policy.
- Remove trespassers when necessary.
- Respond to inquiries from general public.
- Respond to reports of suspicious activity.
- Complete daily activity reports and document any incidents.
- Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred.
- Valid VA Department of Criminal Justice armed security registration required
- High school diploma/GED required
- Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures
- Strong written communication skills and report writing ability
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Good customer service skills required.
