Logistics and Asset Management Analyst

Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Manager I, Chief of Business Operations (Chief), the Logistics and Asset Management Analyst (Analyst II) independently serves as the primary point of contact for the intake, tracking, analysis, and lifecycle management of Information Technology (IT) assets, ensuring compliance with state property control requirements and maintaining accurate records. The Analyst II provides consultative support and coordinates asset management activities for IT teams serving 15 locations statewide. Responsibilities include conducting and leading inventory audits, analyzing data, resolving discrepancies, and recommending process improvements to strengthen asset accountability and operational efficiency. Occasional fieldwork is required for property transportation, equipment coordination, and purchasing activities.

Effective July 1, 2025, specific Bargaining Units and associated Excluded State employees are subject to a salary reduction between 2% - 4.62% in exchange for Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) hours each month.
