Olé Bar & Grill is looking for a friendly, energetic, and dependable Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate is outgoing, customer-focused, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to create a fun and welcoming experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Take drink and food orders accurately
- Provide knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages
- Make recommendations and answer customer questions about menu and drink options
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar
- Monitor customer needs and provide attentive service
- Check identification and follow all applicable laws regarding alcohol service
- Monitor alcohol consumption and refuse service when necessary
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Maintain accurate tabs and close customer checks
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff
- Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and restocking duties
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant policies
- Help create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for our guests
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality
- Reliable and dependable
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
- Knowledge of basic cocktails and beverage service
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Must be legally permitted to serve alcoholic beverages in New York
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
