Training Specialist - Lifeline Indiana University Health seeks individuals embodying excellence, compassion, teamwork, and purpose to join the Lifeline Education team as a Training Specialist. We are seeking a highly organized, detail‑oriented, and mission‑driven specialist to support training and education efforts for all Lifeline team members. The Training Specialist is the first point of contact for new employees on day one of orientation and provides essential support across the ALS/BLS, Critical Care, and Paramedic/EMT programs. Key Relationships Reports to: Manager - Lifeline Direct reports: None Shift: Full time, Monday - Friday, onsite Location: Indianapolis, IN The Scope This role supports the Lifeline Education department, including: Serving as the first face new Lifeline team members see on day one of orientation Teaching new hires how to navigate internal systems including Oracle, email, and Lifeline‑specific platforms Managing compliance reports and data tracking within Verico Maintaining state EMS rosters and records within CADIS Supporting simulation (SIM) training, including operation of SIM mannequins Assisting all three education divisions: ALS/BLS, Critical Care, and Paramedic/EMT programs Conducting and supporting training activities at Lifeline bases across the state as needed Candidate Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 3-5 years of relevant experience required. Excellent presentation and training skills. EMS background (EMT or higher) strongly preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred. Experience with video recording and basic video editing is preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage detailed records, compliance reports, and data systems with accuracy is preferred. Strong computer fluency across multiple platforms required; experience with scheduling or education management systems is preferred.
