Gaithersburg, MDAlexandria, VAChantilly, VAEnglewood, COSt. Louis, MOTucson, AZ Clearance Level Required:Active Top Secret/SCI with the ability to successfully pass a Polygraph examination.Primary Responsibilities:Lead planning, design, development, and execution of comprehensive test strategies.Develop and maintain automated and manual test cases for web-based and enterprise applications.Partner with software developers, systems engineers, and stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and performance testing.Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing into DevSecOps workflows.Champion testing best practices across the team.Contribute to continuous process improvements that enhance software quality and program success.Basic Qualifications:US citizenship is required per contract. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.8+ years of software testing or quality engineering experience.Experience testing enterprise applications throughout the software development lifecycle.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes.Experience developing automated test solutions.Knowledge of functional, integration, regression, system, and performance testing methodologies.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Ability to communicate results and issues to technical and non-technical customer stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (i.e., Playwright, Cypress, etc.) and scripting languages (JavaScript, Python).Familiarity with enterprise applications and large-scale systems.Experience with API, UI, database, and performance testing.Knowledge of cloud-native applications and containerized environments.Certifications such as ISTQB, CASTP, CAST, CSTE, Security+, or similar.#Chinook#NSBAAIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
