Pay: $35 to $50/hour, based on experience and performance Earning Potential: $73,000 to $100,000+ annually Bonuses and commissions 401(k) with profit sharing Medical coverage Paid holidays and PTO Company truck, gas card, cell phone, and uniforms Training and development Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Why You’ll Love It Here Join a locally owned, family-run HVAC company serving the community since 1990 Get the close-knit environment of a local business backed by the systems, resources, and training of a national brand Work somewhere technicians are treated like skilled professionals, not production numbers Build your career through technical, virtual technical, communication, and sales training Develop your skills while working toward higher Connecticut HVAC licensing levels Be part of a team built around professionalism, respect, reliability, and quality workmanship Put your HVAC expertise to work in an environment where strong performance creates greater earning and career opportunities Your New Role Work as a full-time HVAC Technician in Terryville, Connecticut Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install residential heating and cooling equipment Service air conditioning systems, heat pumps, gas boilers, oil boilers, gas furnaces, and oil furnaces Troubleshoot and repair residential oil-fired boilers and oil-fired furnaces, along with gas‑fired heating equipment Complete HVAC preventative maintenance and system cleaning Perform new HVAC installations and system replacements Conduct system evaluations and clearly explain repair and replacement solutions to homeowners Provide professional residential HVAC service that builds customer trust and repeat business Assist with duct cleaning and duct sealing as needed Follow established service processes while communicating naturally and professionally with customers Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and communicate vehicle maintenance needs Follow company uniform and professional appearance policies Work with and help train apprentices as needed Valid Connecticut S2, B2, or D2 HVAC license required Valid driver’s license required Minimum one year of residential HVAC service experience required; 3–5+ years preferred Strong HVAC service, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and installation skills Working knowledge of residential air conditioning systems, heat pumps, gas boilers, oil boilers, gas furnaces, and oil furnaces Ability to diagnose HVAC system issues and determine appropriate solutions Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to clearly explain technical HVAC findings and recommendations to homeowners Strong organization, multitasking, and time-management skills Ability to work effectively as part of a service team Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized company vehicle Ability to follow company uniform and service standards Reliable, professional approach to customer service and field responsibilities Dependable, coachable, customer-focused technician who brings a positive, team‑oriented attitude One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning® of Bristol is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
