Menlo Insurance Services is hiring a licensed commercial insurance professional to help businesses that have already requested insurance assistance. You’ll join a fast-growing insurance agency startup where you’ll follow up with inbound leads, understand their needs, and guide them through Menlo’s online quote application. This is a full-time employee role, remote within the United States. Availability during Pacific Time business hours is required.

Compensation: $60,000–$100,000 annual base salary, plus commission and equity. Commission and equity terms will be discussed during the hiring process.

What you’ll do

\n

• Answer incoming prospect and customer calls, respond promptly to inbound inquiries, and follow up with prospects who have incomplete quote applications.

\n

• Contact interested businesses by phone and email, understand their insurance needs, and explain coverage options within your license and authority.

\n

• Help prospects gather the required information and complete their own application at menloinsurance.com.

\n

• Maintain accurate contact notes, track outstanding information, and agree on clear next steps.

\n

• Hand completed submissions to the quoting team and escalate complex coverage questions.

\n

• Prioritize multiple active leads while delivering a responsive, helpful customer experience.

\n

Your primary focus is completed, accurate applications and a clear handoff to the quoting team. Success means timely follow-up, completed submissions, and reliable records. Quotes and carrier acceptance remain subject to carrier review.

What you’ll bring

\n

• Active California property and casualty broker-agent license and authority appropriate for insurance solicitation.

\n

• Experience in commercial insurance sales, customer service, account management, or producer support.

\n

• CISR designation or comparable commercial insurance experience preferred.

\n

• Strong phone and email communication, organized follow-through, and attention to detail.

\n

• Comfortable using digital applications and contact-management tools and working independently in a fast-paced remote team.
