Exciting Opportunity for an ARNP in Cardiothoracic Care

Our organization is thrilled to announce a fantastic opening for an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to become a vital member of our Cardiothoracic Team in Mason City, Iowa!

Opportunity Highlights

• Become part of a dynamic practice alongside one Cardiothoracic Surgeon and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
• Participate in a 1:2 call schedule, with APPs typically called in for procedures around 10-15 times per year. Call responsibilities amount to 10 days per month.
• Engage in a comprehensive array of cardiology services, including non-invasive, invasive, interventional, and electrophysiology, collaborating closely with cardiac and vascular surgery teams.
• Join a cardiology team comprised of 10 physicians, 7 APPs, and 10 fellows.
• Work at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital.
• Be part of a Level III Trauma Center featuring a 24/7 staffed emergency department, hospitalist services, helicopter access, and cutting-edge catheterization labs.
• Our dedicated physicians and staff prioritize compassionate, effective care for patients with cardiovascular conditions and promote overall health.

Compensation Package

• Attractive guaranteed base salary starting at $180,905 annually, plus a $25,000 signing bonus and $30,000-$35,000 in call pay per year, totaling over $235,000 in the first year for experienced providers with a minimum of 100 vein harvests.
• New graduates can expect a compensation package of $157,000 per year, along with a $25,000 signing bonus and $30,000-$35,000 in call pay, exceeding $210,000 in the first year.
• Daily call pay is set at $150, with $250 for weekends and holidays.
• Additional $300 for procedure-related call-ins (approximately 10-15 times per year).
• Comprehensive benefits package, including malpractice insurance, relocation assistance, $3,000 for continuing medical education (CME), paid time off (PTO), health, dental, vision, life insurance, health savings account (HSA), disability coverage, and a generous retirement contribution from the employer.

Qualifications

• Board Certified as an ARNP; candidates must be eligible for an Iowa medical license, DEA, and CSA, along with obtaining medical staff privileges at MercyOne North Iowa.
• Experience is preferred, specifically with a minimum of 100 vein harvests.
• All offers are subject to successful completion of reference checks, background screening, pre-employment physical, and drug testing.
