Job Details Department: Finance, Fowler College of Business, San Diego State University Job No.: 555786 Work Type: Instructional Faculty – Temporary/Lecturer Location: San Diego Description The Department of Finance is accepting applications for its part‑time lecturer pool. The pool supports teaching in the following areas: financial management, investment/portfolio management, real estate, insurance/Personal Financial Planning, entrepreneurial finance, financial institutions/banking, and managerial economics/macroeconomics. Temporary appointments may be full‑time or part‑time; part‑time appointments are typically made just before the start of the academic term, so applicants must be available on short notice. Fall terms begin mid‑August to late‑December; spring terms begin mid‑January to mid‑May. Summer session teaching may also be available. Initial appointments are usually one semester or one academic year and may be renewed upon satisfactory evaluations and continued availability.
