Civil Construction Superintendent

Hendrick Construction is a Baton Rouge based heavy civil contractor. We are a merit-based company that rewards a hard work ethic, competency, and honesty. We are seeking a Superintendent with demonstrative experience in managing personnel, equipment, and subcontractors in the civil construction trade. As a successful candidate, you are a skilled craftsman and manager who can plan and execute civil work packages. You are self-sufficient and by nature, push projects to completion with safety and quality at your core. Responsibilities General responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Ensure health and safety are prioritized by yourself and your team. Ability to plan, coordinate, troubleshoot, and execute a project. Utilize civil trade knowledge and common sense to keep a project on schedule and on budget. Create lookahead schedules and live in front of the project schedule. Develop and maintain equity with our trade partners and subcontractors through consistency and competency. Required Qualifications 5 years minimum experience in civil construction supervisory roles. Proficient in reading and analyzing construction plans and specifications; scheduling, cost and quality control practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to pass drug test.
