Office Administrator & Audio Visual Coordinator
Our Methodist Church is seeking a dependable, organized, and service-minded individual to serve as our Office Administrator and Audio Visual Coordinator. This position combines office administration responsibilities with support for worship services through audio and visual technology. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, basic office technology knowledge, and a heart for serving the church community.

Office Administrator & Audio Visual Coordinator Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $18.00/hour
- Part Time work available
- Weekend work required
- First Shift (Sunday through Thursday)
- Office Hours (On-Site): Monday through Thursday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Worship Support: Wednesday: 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Sunday: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Office Administration:
- Answer phones, emails, and greet visitors
- Manage church correspondence, calendars, and scheduling
- Prepare weekly bulletins, announcements, and church communications
- Maintain church records and member information
- Assist church staff, ministry leaders, and volunteers with administrative needs
Audio Visual Support:
- Operate sound, projection, and presentation equipment during worship services and special events
- Prepare and display worship slides, announcements, and media presentations
- Troubleshoot basic AV equipment issues
- Coordinate with pastors and worship leaders regarding service needs
- Ensure audiovisual systems are ready for weekly services and events
Office Administrator & Audio Visual Coordinator Qualifications:
- Previous administrative or office experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to learn and operate church audio and projection systems
- Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with congregation members and visitors
- Comfortable working in a faith-based environment
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
