About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Credit Risk in Private Credit and BDCs. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading credit risk analysis for NAV-based and asset-backed lending transactions, assessing complex fund structures, and evaluating portfolio-level risk. This role involves formulating independent risk recommendations, structuring risk mitigations, and overseeing documentation from a credit risk perspective. The VP will also be involved in portfolio monitoring, preparing credit memoranda, and contributing to the development of underwriting standards and risk policies. Applicants should have 6-10+ years' experience in credit risk, underwriting, or portfolio risk within a bank, with a preference for those with direct experience in NAV-based or asset-backed lending. A strong technical background in credit analysis, collateral assessment, and structural protections is essential, as is the ability to interpret financial models and stress tests. The role requires an independent and disciplined risk mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. Advanced Excel skills are a must, and experience with risk or data tools is beneficial. A Bachelor's degree is required, with advanced or professional qualifications being a plus.
