Co-op, Neurodevelopmental Biology Research

Role Co-op student supporting early-stage neurodevelopmental research focused on therapeutic strategies to modulate disease-relevant RNA transcripts within Biogen's Neurodevelopmental Biology Research Group. Responsibilities perform molecular assays (qPCR, ddPCR, western blot) cell culture transfection/transduction of human iPSC-derived neurons and cell lines immunostaining fluorescence microscopy quantitative image analysis to aid target identification and validation experimental planning troubleshooting data documentation Requirements currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program pursuing degrees in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology/Biochemistry, or Neuroscience strong cell biology, genomics, and proteomics foundation technical wet lab experience legal authorization to work in the U.S. must be at least 18 years old Preferred qualifications familiarity with functional cellular assays such as multi-electrode array recording data analysis tools like GraphPad Prism High-Value neurodevelopmental disorders RNA transcript modulation molecular and cell biology techniques early-stage target validation research working with human iPSC-derived neurons Work setup internship role, January - June 2027, with a base pay of $23-$29/hour, supporting remote or hybrid work, with eligibility criteria for educational institutions. #J-18808-Ljbffr Scorpion Therapeutics
