Your Role Awaits

• Performing thorough evaluations of patient health, arranging relevant diagnostic procedures, and crafting personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, and chronic conditions collaboratively with physicians or autonomously (as per your credentials)
• Guiding patients and their families in strategies for wellness, prevention, and effective disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and treatment plans while adhering to established practices
• Engaging in ongoing patient care and chronic condition management initiatives
• Partnering with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care
• Keenly documenting clinical encounters within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications Required

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Needed

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or readiness to obtain within 90 days)
