Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver with Patrol Duties in Baytown, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and document security-related events, observations, and incident details according to site protocols.
• Support access control, monitor restricted areas, and report hazards, equipment issues, and/or policy violations that could affect operations or security-related conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
