Position Overview
We are seeking Customs Brokerage Agents to support import customs clearance activities for a portfolio of customers. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates already working in a customs brokerage environment who want to expand their experience with a global logistics leader.
What You'll Do
- Process U.S. Customs import entries and related documentation.
- Prepare and transmit customs filings through ACE and ABI systems.
- Monitor shipments from arrival through customs clearance and delivery.
- Communicate with customers regarding shipment status and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to facilitate timely cargo release.
- Maintain accurate records, shipment files, and operational documentation.
- Support compliance with CBP regulations and customer requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of experience processing customs entries for a customs broker.
- Experience using ACE and ABI systems.
- Understanding of customs clearance procedures and compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- CargoWise experience is a plus.
Schedule & Details
- Monday-Friday schedule.
- Rotating Saturday coverage with overtime opportunities.
- Flexible start times.
- Hourly pay.
- Temp-to-hire opportunity.
- Fully onsite in Florham Park, NJ.
