Local Rate: $3637.5/week

Travel Rate: $4298.5/week

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Associate Director of Nursing (ADON) for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York NY.

Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic administrative and clinical leadership across CPEP inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services
Ensure implementation of trauma-informed care de-escalation strategies and therapeutic safety practices
Maintain compliance with NYS OMH Joint Commission and CMS regulations
Supervise mentor and evaluate psychiatric nursing staff nurse managers and educators
Optimize staffing resource allocation and clinical workflows across units
Collaborate with psychiatry leadership social work teams and community partners for care coordination
Support emergency psychiatric operations and continuity of care across service lines

Qualifications
Proven progressive nursing leadership experience (Director ADON or Senior Nurse Manager) in behavioral health
Strong clinical expertise in psychiatric emergency (CPEP) inpatient and outpatient mental health settings
Active unrestricted RN license in the State of New York
BSN required; Masters degree (MSN MHA or MPA) preferred
Strong crisis intervention leadership and communication skills
Financial and operational management experience preferred
