As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Frazeysburg, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for guests and staff. This role is ideal for someone who values teamwork, acts with integrity, and brings an agile, reliable, and innovative approach to customer service and communication every day.

Pay Rate: $18.83 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and/or store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or customer concerns in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor assigned areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or access concerns, and communicate observations to management and/or public emergency responders when needed.
• Assist with access control, closing procedures, and/or crowd and line monitoring during busy periods, special events, and high-traffic business hours.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
