The Department of Neurology at our organization is on the lookout for a Neuro-Oncologist to enhance its expanding academic neuroscience program. This faculty role presents a unique chance to establish and grow a neuro-oncology practice within a supportive, multidisciplinary setting that encompasses neurology, neurosurgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, neuropathology, and clinical research initiatives. The department is actively pursuing growth and recognizes neuro-oncology as a vital area for development.

Position Overview:

• Deliver comprehensive care for patients dealing with primary and metastatic brain tumors, as well as other neurological issues related to cancer, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Engage in a collaborative neuro-oncology program alongside experts in neurosurgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, neuroradiology, and pathology.
• Advance and expand clinical programs, research projects, and educational efforts in the field of neuro-oncology.
• Instruct and guide medical students, residents, and fellows affiliated with our organization.
• Take part in quality improvement projects, clinical research, and academic contributions.
• Support the ongoing development of the Department of Neurology and its neuroscience service offerings.

Essential Qualifications:

• Possession of an MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Completion of a Neuro-Oncology Fellowship or equivalent specialized training.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Missouri.
