Job Description The Litigation Associate will support attorneys across a broad range of complex litigation matters while gaining meaningful exposure to case strategy, legal analysis, motion practice, discovery, client counseling, and trial preparation. Key responsibilities include: Supporting litigation matters throughout all phases of the case lifecycle. Conducting sophisticated legal research and developing strategic legal analyses. Drafting motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation-related filings. Assisting with discovery strategy, document review, and fact development. Participating in case assessment, litigation planning, and trial preparation activities. Supporting intellectual property, commercial, securities, and regulatory litigation matters. Analyzing legal issues involving technology, life sciences, and emerging industries. Assisting with regulatory investigations and enforcement-related matters. Participating in client meetings and litigation strategy discussions. Preparing written analyses, legal summaries, and client communications. Collaborating with attorneys across multiple practice areas and offices. Supporting appellate, federal court, and complex litigation initiatives as needed. Required Qualifications Current Federal Judicial Clerkship or recently completed Federal Judicial Clerkship. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. One (1) to three (3) years of legal experience. Strong demonstrated interest in litigation practice. Exceptional legal research skills. Exceptional legal writing and analytical abilities. Experience drafting legal memoranda, motions, briefs, or related legal documents. Strong oral communication and advocacy capabilities. Active bar membership or eligibility to sit for, transfer, or waive into the applicable state bar. Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced legal environment. Strong attention to detail and professional judgment. Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. No current or future visa sponsorship requirements. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting complex commercial litigation matters. Exposure to securities litigation and regulatory enforcement proceedings. Intellectual property litigation experience involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, or trade secrets. Technology, life sciences, healthcare, or emerging growth company litigation experience. Federal court litigation exposure. Law Review, Journal, or Moot Court participation. Published legal writing or scholarly work. Appellate litigation experience. Experience supporting high-stakes litigation matters. Demonstrated employment stability and progressive legal development.
