Litigation Associate

Manage all phases of civil litigation cases from pre-litigation through trial. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, responses, and legal correspondence. Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex legal issues. Manage written discovery, document review, and production. Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts. Prepare witnesses for depositions, hearings, and trial. Attend court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences. Assist with trial strategy, trial preparation, and courtroom proceedings. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel. Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines. Collaborate with partners and other attorneys to develop litigation strategies. Qualification J.D. from an accredited law school Active Bar admission in the state where the position is located .1–5 years of civil litigation experience (insurance defense, commercial litigation, product liability, employment, general liability, or related practice areas preferred) Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Experience handling depositions, motion practice, and discovery Trial preparation experience is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple matters independently in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience Experience with complex civil litigation. Familiarity with state and federal court procedures. Strong client relationship management skills. Experience using litigation management and e-discovery platforms.
