Litigation Associate Attorney - Medical Malpractice

Job Description Job Description Role Description We are seeking a Litigation Associate with 4+ years of litigation experience to join our California Litigation Practice Group. This role is ideal for a litigator with a strong background in medical malpractice defense and experience handling complex litigation matters in both state and federal court. This is a hybrid position with the flexibility to work from any of our Southern California offices, including Los Angeles, San Diego, or Irvine. What You'll Do Manage all phases of complex medical malpractice and healthcare litigation matters in both state and federal court, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation. Defend healthcare providers, hospitals, physicians, and long-term care facilities in medical malpractice, elder abuse, and catastrophic injury matters. Take and defend fact and expert witness depositions and manage written discovery. Draft and argue substantive motions, including Motions for Summary Judgment and Summary Adjudication. Participate in client meetings, hearings, mediations, and litigation-related proceedings throughout California. Collaborate closely with partners, clients, experts, and insurance carriers on high-exposure healthcare litigation matters. Salary commensurate with experience: $150,000—$180,000 USD
