Job Summary:
Infusion Nurse for a healthcare provider in the infusion specialty. This role involves delivering specialized nursing care to patients receiving intravenous and injectable therapies, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologic agents, blood products, and other medications. The nurse monitors patient responses, administers treatments, provides education, and ensures safety throughout the treatment process.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license or equivalent RNs with an active Compact Licensure must obtain a Wisconsin RN license within 90 days of start date; Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire; ACLS required or obtained within 1 year of hire; Current Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider Card or obtained within 6 months of hire.

• Additional Information: The role entails administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other IV and injectable medications, managing vascular access devices, ensuring hazardous drug safety, monitoring for adverse reactions, providing patient education, and collaborating with healthcare team members.
