The Opportunity

BOE is seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager who can protect and strengthen the relationships at the heart of our business. This leadership position combines customer care, team development, inside-sales support, problem-solving, and day-to-day coordination in a hands-on fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build upon the strong foundation established by a long-tenured and highly respected manager while helping position the department for continued growth.

What you’ll do

• Lead, coach, and support the customer-service team
• Build strong relationships with distributors, contractors, independent sales reps and internal staff
• Keep CRM files and reports current and accurate and manage the customer-contact database
• Proactively contact customers by phone and email daily
• Own the resolution of order, service, delivery, and customer-experience issues
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and leadership to keep commitments and communicate clearly
• Monitor workload, service quality, follow-up, and recurring issues
• Preserve institutional knowledge while improving procedures, reporting, and team accountability

Qualifications

Required:

● Five (5) or more years of customer-service experience.

● Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft 365 (Teams, Excel); comfort learning new software quickly

● Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication

● Sound judgment, strong organization, and attention to detail

● A proactive, self-motivated, professional, and reliable approach

● High school diploma or GED; additional education is a plus

● Exposure to the tile, stone, or building-materials industry, not required but is a strong plus
