Shipping and Receiving Clerk Requirements

• 1+ years of experience
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, transportation, warehouse administration, or supply chain operations preferred
• Strong computer, data entry, and Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP systems is a plus
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance and strong professional work ethic

Job Duties

• Process and verify shipping and receiving documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipment records
• Maintain accurate shipment data and inventory information within company systems
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers, drivers, and warehouse teams
• Prepare shipping labels, manifests, and required transportation documentation
• Perform data entry, track shipment statuses, and update logistics records
• Assist with inventory audits, reporting, and general administrative support
• Resolve shipment discrepancies and communicate priority updates to supervisors and warehouse personnel
• Support efficient warehouse and distribution operations through accurate recordkeeping

What You Will Do


As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk you will receive incoming shipments, inspect materials, prepare outbound orders, verify inventory, organize warehouse stock, complete shipping and receiving documentation, and help maintain accurate inventory records. You will safely move products throughout the warehouse while supporting efficient shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment operations.


A Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for coordinating the movement of products into and out of a warehouse while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting efficient distribution operations. This role requires attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to workplace safety.
