QA/QC Inspector

HIGHER PAY FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON

Pay rates increase for peak season — from late October through the end of December. This is the busiest stretch of the year at FN Logistics, and it comes with an increased hourly rate plus more overtime opportunity. Get hired now and you are on the floor and trained before peak starts.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Fashion Nova is one of the most recognized names in fast fashion, and FN Logistics is the fulfillment operation behind it. This is a temp-to-hire position with real room to grow. You start as a Bluecrew crew member assigned to FN Logistics. Many crew members who stay consistent with attendance and performance are converted to full-time FN Logistics employees once they reach their required hours. FN Logistics promotes from within — trainers, team leads, process coordinators and supervisors on that floor started as crew members.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a QA/QC Inspector you are the last set of eyes before product reaches the customer.

Inspect garments for defects — stains, loose stitching, damage, flaws

Verify correct labeling, tagging, polybagging and packaging

Check order accuracy and quantities against the system before items ship

Audit totes and cartons; confirm counts reconcile

Record and report quality issues to the QA team and leads

Flag damaged or non-conforming items rather than letting them pass

Please note: you may be moved to another department based on business need, including picking. Everyone on this assignment works in picking at some point. Full ability to work wherever you are needed is part of the job requirements — please only apply if you are able and willing.

WHAT YOU NEED

Strong attention to detail and a steady, careful pace

Ability to stand for the length of the shift

Ability to read and follow written specs and procedures

Reliable transportation to Santa Fe Springs

Ability to pass a background check

Warehouse, QA, quality control or garment experience is a plus — we will train the right person

Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful but not required

SCHEDULE & BREAKS

Take breaks and lunch only at your department's scheduled time. Do not go early, come back late, skip lunch, or clock back in early from lunch. Clock OUT for lunch and select RETURN FROM LUNCH when you come back use the ADP time clocks, not the app. Check your punches daily. Once you commit to this schedule, you cannot change it for 90 days. Please choose a shift you can work every week before you accept.

ATTENDANCE POLICY

Attendance is tracked on a point system. Ten points ends the assignment.

Late arrival (5-minute grace period) 0.5

Early departure 1

Absent — called out (per day) 1.5

Absent — no call / no show (per day) 3

Two (2) missed clock punches 0.5

No absences during your first week

Three consecutive no call / no shows are treated as job abandonment

Leaving work without notifying management is treated as job abandonment

Text before your shift starts, not after — call-outs, running late, leaving early

WAREHOUSE RULES & SAFETY

No phones on the floor — break areas only, including at the end of your shift while still clocked in

No food or drinks at workstations; water is fine

No bags or personal items on the floor

No running or horseplay

Smoking and vaping only in the designated area — the parking lot is not a smoking area

Follow all safety guidelines and supervisor instructions

Report broken or damaged equipment immediately

Return your scanner and any issued equipment before the end of your shift

Cameras cover the warehouse and parking lot and are monitored 24/7

These rules exist because people get hurt. Loose hair, long nails, hoods and personal items get caught in equipment, and phones and earbuds mean you cannot hear equipment, alarms or someone calling out to you.

Report any injury or incident to your Bluecrew On-Site Manager the same shift, before you go home.

***General Requirements***

When working in a warehouse environment through Bluecrew, you may be expected to do any and all of the following:

• Working independently or in a team to pick, pack, and ship items
• Safely relocating or repacking inventory items as directed, up to 50 pounds in weight
• Operating machinery or other light equipment as trained in a safe and responsible manner
• Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities as required by the immediate supervisor
• Working on your feet at a fast pace for the entirety of the shift
• Comfortable working in an environment where there are forklifts, machinery, large trucks, and other standard or sub-standard warehouse equipment
• There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants.
