A growing operation is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support the inspection, repair, and upkeep of material handling equipment and assist with minor building maintenance. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair material handling equipment
• Perform routine checks on electrical and power units throughout the facility
• Identify malfunctions and complete needed repairs on electrical systems and vehicle engines
• Handle light building maintenance including changing bulbs, painting, caulking, and similar repairs
• Maintain records of service cycles and maintenance work performed
• Report damages, defects, and equipment issues to leadership
• Order spare and replacement parts and complete related documentation
• Assist with daily inventory counts
• Move equipment between buildings as needed
• Follow all safety procedures, GMP requirements, and company policies
• Support additional maintenance-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance mechanic experience in an industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment
• Understanding of electrical testing and repair related to material handling equipment
• Ability to safely and effectively use hand tools and power tools
• Forklift experience preferred
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to work cooperatively with others and maintain a positive attitude

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to perform physical work for extended periods of time
