Program Supervisor

Direct Care/Program Staff SupervisorThe Direct Care/Program Staff Supervisor provides leadership for direct care staff in a treatment program for adolescent males. The Direct Care/Program Staff Supervisor ensures that all policies and procedures are complied with by staff and residents, conducts intake interviews and completes intake paperwork, prepares shift reports and other reports as necessary, provides direct supervision for staff, and ensures adequate staff shifts coverage. In addition, the Direct Care/Program Staff Supervisor will ensure the implementation of recreational activities, conduct group work with residents, monitor the Behavior Management System, and serve as liaison for all external contact during shift.The Direct Care/Program Staff Supervisor will provide supervision for day and evening shifts on weekdays and weekends. The Direct Care/Program Staff Supervisor will be directly supervised by the Assistant Program Director. Responsibilities include:Monitor and ensure staff compliance to all policies, procedures and standardsEnsure daily housekeeping activities are completed, as appropriateProvide regular supervision for individual staffAssist in staff hiring procedures and decisionsEnsure adequate staffing on shiftsConduct shift change meetings with outgoing and incoming shiftsEnsure building security and safetyProvide coaching and teaching around DBT skillsProvide supervision and oversight during vocational classes and eventsReporting verbally and in writing during client meetings regarding DBT proficiency and vocational skillsRequirements:Valid Massachusetts driver's licenseBachelor's degree strongly preferredExperience working with at risk youthPrevious supervisory experienceRegistered and insured car required for employment use, as neededPay rate is $25-$27/hour based on experience.
