Position Overview

Progressive Care Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team at our rehabilitation facility in Woodbridge, New Jersey. This full-time, onsite position is designed for an enthusiastic professional who is committed to enhancing patient mobility and quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions. The role offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, depending on experience.

Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and a collaborative atmosphere, where healthcare professionals work seamlessly together to provide outstanding patient care. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for consistent patient engagement and professional development. This is an onsite position, immediately engaging with patients in a supportive clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans that are both effective and goal-oriented.
• Manage a dedicated caseload of patients, ensuring that each individual receives personalized attention and high-quality care during every session.
• Utilize advanced orthopedic assessment techniques to create tailored rehabilitation strategies based on patients' specific needs.
• Implement cost-effective treatment modalities, emphasizing non-surgical alternatives and reducing reliance on pharmaceutical interventions whenever possible.
• Design and execute comprehensive fitness and wellness programs, integrating best practices to promote patients’ strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Motivate and educate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive treatment experience that encourages sustained recovery practices.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and health coaches, to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to patient care.
• Continuously monitor treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans as necessary based on ongoing patient progress and feedback.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans using EMR software, such as WebPT, to maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily work with patients in an outpatient setting, including athletes recovering from injuries, post-operative patients, and individuals with chronic pain conditions. Each patient presents a unique set of challenges and requires an individualized approach to rehabilitation, reinforcing the therapist's role in enhancing both mobility and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly preferred.
• Valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• Proven track record of providing exceptional patient care, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions against licensure.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• Ability to develop and implement effective exercise prescriptions based on current research and practice.
• Effective use of electronic medical records (EMR) software, especially WebPT, for documentation and patient management.
• Strong commitment to staying current with the latest developments in physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a fast-paced outpatient rehabilitation clinic.
• Background in sports medicine or orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and contemporary methodologies in physical rehabilitation.
• Experience in patient education and wellness coaching.

Compensation and Benefits

Progressive Care Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
