This is a great opportunity for a mission-driven physician who enjoys partnering with families, supporting healthy development, and delivering preventive care in a collaborative setting.What You'll DoProvide primary healthcare services for children and young adults including physical exams, diagnosis, and plan of careDeliver preventive visits including well-child checks, sports/school physicals, vaccinations, and screeningsOrder, perform, and interpret diagnostic testsEvaluate growth and development and treat acute/chronic illness and developmental concernsPrescribe/administer medications, vaccinations, and therapies; coordinate specialty referrals and minor procedures as neededEducate parents/guardians and patients on prevention, hygiene, diet, activity, and treatment plansCollaborate and consult with other providers; serve as a community resourceMaintain a clean, functional environment and follow CDC infection control guidance and OSHA guidelinesQualifications· Education: MD or DOLicensure: Current, unrestricted Arizona medical license as a PhysicianCertification: Board Certified in Pediatrics or Board Eligible (Board Eligible must obtain certification within 1 year)DEA: Current valid DEA registration and certificate· Clinical & Professional Skills:Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skillsOutstanding organization skills and ability to multi-taskInitiative, creativity, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and flexibilityAbility to collaborate with professional colleagues to provide quality careFriendly, welcoming, and professional public-facing demeanorCommitment to culturally sensitive careTechnical Skills (preferred): Knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with multicultural populations; specialized certifications as applicableCompliance/Screening: Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain); clearance from APS Registry and Direct Service Central RegistryTransportation: Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insuranceBLS: Basic Life Support trained or ability to be trained at time of hireHealth Requirements (upon hire, as applicable):TB screening documentation (PPD, QuantiFERON, and/or chest x-ray as required)Immunization documentation or titers/declination forms for: Influenza, Hepatitis B, MMR, Tdap, Varicella, COVID-19Bilingual preferred: Spanish/EnglishWhy Join UsSupportive, collaborative clinical teamOpportunity to make a meaningful impact in the communityBenefits401(k)401(k) matchingMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Life InsurancePaid Disability InsurancePaid time offEmployee assistance programEmployee discountProfessional development assistanceReferral program*** NHSC Loan Repayment Program - awards up to $50,000 in exchange for a two-year commitment to provide primary medical, dental, or mental/behavioral health care at approved sites in high-need, underserved areas.
