Senior Manager Compensation

We're partnering with a global, industry-leading consumer products organization to identify an experienced Senior Compensation Manager to support North America Operations and Procurement. This is an exciting opportunity for a compensation professional with deep expertise in manufacturing and operations compensation who enjoys partnering with senior leaders, driving strategic compensation initiatives, and influencing enterprise-wide decisions. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and comfortable leading complex compensation programs across both hourly (union and non-union) and salaried employee populations in a large, multi-site manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: Lead the design, administration, and continuous improvement of compensation programs for hourly and salaried employees across North America. Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to provide strategic guidance on compensation planning, job evaluations, market pricing, salary recommendations, and incentive programs. Support the redesign and administration of salary structures across the U.S. and Canada. Evaluate and improve hourly incentive plan effectiveness and payout strategies. Manage annual salary planning and incentive compensation cycles. Conduct market analyses, salary benchmarking, and compensation research to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity. Perform job evaluations for broad-based and leadership positions. Participate in salary surveys and support salary structure development across multiple countries. Design and deliver compensation-related training for HR and business leaders. Recommend process improvements, policy enhancements, and compensation best practices that support a pay-for-performance culture. Lead cross-functional compensation initiatives while influencing stakeholders across HR, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Commercial teams. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 5+ years of progressive compensation experience, with significant expertise supporting manufacturing and operations organizations. Experience designing compensation programs for both hourly (union and non-union) and salaried employee populations. Strong understanding of compensation strategy, market pricing, salary structures, incentive design, and job evaluation methodologies. Experience supporting large, multi-site manufacturing organizations with varying compensation strategies. Korn Ferry Hay job evaluation experience is highly preferred. Prior leadership or people management experience is strongly preferred. Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex compensation data. Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership. Experience leading cross-functional projects and driving organizational change. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or other HR certification is a plus. Preferred Experience: Compensation strategy within complex manufacturing or operations environments. Annual salary structure redesign and compensation planning. Market analytics and compensation benchmarking. Incentive compensation design and administration. Change leadership within HR Centers of Excellence (COE) or shared services organizations.
