As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence, we are seeking a Business Operations Intern to join the 2027 Spring Internship class.The Global Business Operations Team works to support IJM’s Global Operations Council in its mission to empower and support the organization by driving optimal operational solutions that will scale IJM’s impact of protecting people in poverty from violence. The team supports the collaboration, alignment, improvement, and integration of all Global Business Operations Functions - Finance, HR, Legal, and Technology.The Business Operations Intern will support project and portfolio management, change management, and business process improvement. This includes assisting with projects and tasks, such as supporting the preparation and completion of deliverables; scheduling; supporting research on industry best practices; and designing and editing communication materials.This position can be fully in-person or hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays) in the Washington, DC area or remote for non-local candidates. It reports to the Global Director, Business Operations. The position requires 30-40 hours per week, primarily during the hours of 8:30am-5:30pm EST. As volunteers, interns and fellows receive a monthly stipend to help defray their expenses related to participating in the internship program.
