You'll work alongside physicians and clinical staff in a fast-paced primary care setting, helping patients navigate their healthcare journey with confidence and compassion.If you're known for your positive attitude, strong clinical skills, and ability to anticipate patient needs before they even ask, we'd love to meet you.Why You'll Love This RoleBuild meaningful relationships with patientsWork alongside a collaborative and supportive healthcare teamUse both your clinical and administrative skills every dayMake a direct impact on patient outcomes and experiencesGrow your career in a respected healthcare organizationWhat You'll DoClinical ResponsibilitiesObtain and document vital signs, recognizing and reporting abnormal findings.Assist with patient intake, rooming, and clinic flow.Schedule new and follow-up appointments.Recognize and appropriately respond to emergencies.Maintain exam rooms, supplies, linens, and equipment.Prepare, clean, and disinfect clinical equipment according to policy.Collect, prepare, and transport laboratory specimens as needed.Support patient comfort and care while considering age-specific and special needs.Documentation & Electronic Medical RecordsAccurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR).Access and review laboratory results, radiology reports, and outside medical records.Update patient demographics and coordinate follow-up care.Prepare safety reports when necessary.Protect patient privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance.Professionalism & Patient ServiceDemonstrate reliability, integrity, and professionalism at all times.Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, families, and colleagues.Address concerns and complaints respectfully and professionally.Communicate clinic needs, concerns, and updates to leadership.Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.Safety & Infection PreventionFollow standard and transmission-based precautions.Promote a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.Report safety concerns promptly.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinic safety programs.Administrative & Clerical SupportGather and organize clinical documentation for providers.Request medical records from outside facilities.Scan and upload documentation into the EMR.Answer and route telephone calls professionally and efficiently.What We're Looking ForMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.Or two (2) years of relevant healthcare experience.Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.Accepted Medical Assistant CertificationsWe accept certifications from the following organizations:American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)National Performance Specialists (NPCE) Certified Medical AssistantNationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) Medical Assistant CertificationJoin Our TeamYour compassion, professionalism, clinical expertise, and commitment to patient care make a difference every single day.
