Maintenance Mechanic

1st & 2nd Shift Opportunities Available

Pay: $27.00 - $37.00/hr (Based on Experience)

Overtime: Consistent overtime available

We are seeking experienced Maintenance Mechanics to support production by keeping equipment operating safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, equipment repair, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll play a critical role in maintaining production machinery, improving equipment reliability, and supporting continuous operations.

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems .
• Diagnose and resolve issues on PLC-controlled and automated manufacturing equipment .
• Repair and maintain equipment such as conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, and production machinery .
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals .
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
• Support machine installations, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complete maintenance work orders, repair logs, and preventative maintenance documentation.
• Work closely with production teams to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting .
• Experience working with PLCs, sensors, motors, VFDs, and automated systems .
• Ability to diagnose and repair manufacturing equipment with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Experience with welding, fabrication, machining, or facility maintenance is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to equipment reliability.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hugo, MN.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $37.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
