Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with vascular experience and ARRT certification for a 13‑week travel contract at a Level II Trauma, Level I Pediatric Trauma acute‑care hospital in Florida. Responsibilities Work in a 4‑room interventional radiology suite — 3 rooms equipped with biplane imaging (3 Siemens, 1 GE unit) Perform a wide variety of cases including stroke intervention, neurointerventions, PE thrombectomy and thrombolysis, DVT interventions, pain management, and oncology procedures (Y‑90, MAAs, chemoembolizations) Maintain a daily caseload of 20–30 cases per technologist Work 4 × 10‑hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM; weekend work and on‑call required Float within scope to meet facility needs; no floating to sister facilities required Use Cerner EMR (preferred) Requirements Minimum 1 year of IR technologist experience, with vascular experience required Current BLS and ARRT certifications required FL state license required if applicable Proficiency with PACS, contrast administration, and biopsies required Experience with stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripheral upper and lower extremity studies, abdominal and pelvic studies, vascular studies, neurological studies, and stroke thrombectomy IR procedures COVID‑19 vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions accepted) Candidates must not be local to the facility area – local candidates are not eligible Additional Information Level II Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma facility with 615 staffed beds First‑time travelers are welcome to apply Black or navy scrubs required Parking is covered Pay Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
