Law Firm Accountant

Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr Location Portland, OR Why You’ll Love This Role Assist with core financial operations across billing, payroll, and reporting. Hybrid opportunity after training period and excellent benefits. Key Responsibilities Prepare financial reports and reconciliations to support firmwide decision-making. Manage billing, collections, trust accounts, and vendor payments. Oversee payroll processing and associated tax filings. Support annual audits, financial reporting, and benefit administration. Identify process improvements and provide backup support to the accounting team. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 5–8 years of experience (law firm experience required). Strong understanding of GAAP, ABA guidelines, payroll/tax rules, and internal controls. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software; strong reconciliation and reporting experience. Ability to analyze data, manage deadlines, and communicate financial insights. Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working both independently and with a team. Physical Requirements This office position involves walking and seated work at a desk, including typing, reaching, bending, and regular use of a computer.
