Overview Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care Amsterdam, New York, United States Start date: 06/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x8 evenings Weekly pay: $1,336 to $1,445 per week Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long‑term care setting under supervision. Administer prescribed medications and document administration per care plan and policy. Monitor vital signs, assess resident condition, and report changes to the supervising RN. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; participate in care planning and rounds. Maintain patient safety, infection control, and accurate charting. Requirements Active New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. BLS certification. Minimum 2 years of LPN experience in a skilled nursing facility/long‑term care setting. Graduate of an approved practical nursing program. Ability to work evenings (5x8 schedule) and every other weekend; able to work at least 4 of 8 hours if needed. Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with a decreased bill rate.
