About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified IMC RN in Evansville, Indiana, 47701!

• Provide direct patient care on a dedicated 30-bed Stroke Unit within an Intermediate/Progressive Care setting
• Manage and monitor patients presenting with conditions including Medical, DKA, Cardiac, GI, and Renal diagnoses
• Care for patients with Sepsis, Trauma, and post-Surgical needs in a stepdown environment
• Maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, delivering safe and effective care across assigned caseload
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate stroke-specific and complex patient care plans

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or compact licensure eligibility
• Experience in an IMC, PCU, Stepdown, or comparable intermediate care setting
• Proficiency in caring for stroke, cardiac, and medically complex patient populations
• Current BLS certification required

• Prior experience on a dedicated Stroke Unit or Neurology floor
• Familiarity with DKA management, sepsis protocols, and post-surgical care
• Experience with renal and GI patient populations in a progressive care environment

• Opportunity to work on a specialized Stroke Unit with a structured, manageable nurse-to-patient ratio
