PURCHASING COORDINATOR
Holland & Sherry Owings Mills, MD | On-Site | Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM–5:30 PM | Reports to the Purchasing Manager Holland & Sherry is an industry leader and source of high-quality textiles for the interior design trade, committed to providing innovative and custom solutions for our clients. Our team is passionate about design and dedicated to delivering exceptional client experiences. We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in Owings Mills, MD. In this role, you will be responsible for working efficiently in an individual and team setting, while liaising between our vendors and sales team in the procurement of goods and completion of deliveries. Our Ideal Candidate Is Excellent with verbal and written communication Organized, punctual and personable Polished and professional Willing to learn with a problem-solving mindset Key Responsibilities Communicate approved orders to vendors, solicit information of receipt, and verify delivery dates are within company and industry standard Prepare invoices to send to vendors and maintain payment and delivery dates Review and analyze invoices before submitting them to the accounts payable department; ensure timely processing of payments with suppliers to meet delivery timelines Assess inventory needs to determine cost-effective shipping practices and provide instructions for deliveries Liaise with sales team and vendors to ensure proper release and reorder of product Resolve delivery delays, incorrect shipments, and quality concerns with suppliers and Purchasing Manager Maintain accurate information in various company systems Special projects as required within purchasing team Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities Strong computer/math skills and data entry knowledge Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems A passion for interior design and textiles What We Offer Compensation of $23-$25 per hour depending on experience Comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance 401k retirement savings program with employer matching contributions Paid time off with at least 9 federal holidays observed throughout the calendar year #J-18808-Ljbffr hollandandsherryVacancy posted 19 hours ago
