Gloo Envoy API Gateway Lead Developer /Architect

Location: Atlanta, GA / New Jersey Duration: 12+ Months / Fulltime with Intelliswift Software Inc. Position Overview We are seeking a talented and motivated Developer to join our team in building a new API Gateway Platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing self-service tools and abstractions for onboarding new APIs, as well as expertise in configuration management using GitOps. Key Responsibilities Develop new Envoy Based API Gateway Platform, focusing on seamless onboarding of new APIs. Create self-service tools to enhance the developer experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration needs and align on API requirements. Optimize and maintain the platform for performance, scalability, and reliability. Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation efforts to ensure high-quality deliverables. Qualifications Proficient in Java and experience with React. Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration. Experience with GitOps practices and tools for configuration management. Knowledge and experience with Envoy based Gateways. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
