Utilities Clerk – 051 Houston-Cullen (ages 16‑17) Store 051 Houston Cullen Store Location 9420 Cullen Blvd. Houston, Texas, 77051, United States Responsibilities Assist in the proper maintenance of the store, especially the Produce Department, and help customers on the store floor as needed. Properly bag groceries for customers and carry them out when requested. Maintain a clean and safe store environment at all times. Maintain and retrieve store carts, run price checks, assist with go-backs, and keep the check stand well stocked. Remove waste from the parking area. Physical Requirements Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds. Stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods. Meet visual and auditory requirements. Qualifications Read and write Spanish and English, and interact with the general public and co‑workers. Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees. Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions. Preferred Skills Basic PC and Outlook skills. Retail Management Certificate.
